Someday I hope to have the strength and bravery to stand before a crowded gymnasium and speak about drinking and driving. I worry about speaking out too much because I dont want to sound angry anymore. However, I want others to learn. I want my students to learn. I made the decision tonight to post a picture. A private picture on twitter because I know my students will see it. I want them to understand that my husband loved them but was not perfect. I am not perfect. I want them especially as prom time approaches to remember to paint their path with wise choices, not just kindness and generosity. To my friends, please lead by example.
