Somedays are just not memorable ones and should be, but then there are days when it should just be another day and you just cant get over how wonderful it is. I went to Pell City to pay on my layaway at Kmart. Then had lunch with my husband, and stepped back in time in a way. I found a brand new Dairy Queen and while they have changed the name from Mr Misty to Freezies, its the same grape slush taste and also, I found a Baskin Robbins that has recently opened and I got a taste I havent had since the 70s. Yep, my favorite, absolutely without a doubt favorite, Daiquiri Ice. I took just one bite/lick at the counter and the young lady who must have been about 19 said you really like that flavor dont you? With a stunned look on my face I said yes, how can you tell and she said your eyes lit up when you took that bite. I am one happy camper........today anyway.
