Somehow the breakup of the NDA in Maharashtra doesnt seem right......the BJP and the Shiv Sena have been together through thick and thin for the last 25 years,partners in adversity and when now it seemed that the throne of Maharashtra was finally theirs for the taking,they decide to go their separate ways......whats a few seats between friends......the alliance is more important than the CMs chair......today it is the Shiv Sena,tomorrow it may well be the Akali Dal......confidence is good but abundance of that leads to arrogance and as the saying goes.....Pride goeth before a fall.......I still expect the PM to reach out to the Shiv Sena in a statesmanlike gesture when he visits Maharashtra for the election campaign....... I am not privy to the inner workings of these alliance dynamics but UNITY is a gospel theme and should be accepted by all concerned...
