Someone asked for opinions about the iPhone 6, so I commented the following, but Im putting it here to share with everyone in case youre wondering if you should upgrade. By the way, the only difference in the 6 and the 6 plus is the size of the screen and the battery life. The plus battery life is about double that of the 6. Heres my review of the 6 . . . I got the 6 yesterday, I love it. Im not thrilled about the size because I came from a 4S, but I think Ill get used to it in time. I didnt get the 6 plus, simply for the reason that it would definitely feel like I was carrying an iPad around. There are some pretty cool new features. Although, I think most of them were introduced in iOS8 (not so much the phone itself), which you can get on a 4S (but its not a good thing to do because it seriously eats up data space and slows the phone down, but Im sure iOS8 is great for a 5). The fingerprint ID is kinda cool. I got a bluetooth device that connects to my keys and if Im carrying my keys but not my phone and get out of range, an alarm will go off on each device. This is proving to be a sad thing because 3 times (last night and this morning), it went off while I had both right next to each other. I think it might be cool if I should lose my keys because I can make an alarm go off on them to help me find them, or, I can see them on a map by GPS. Maybe Ill put this device on my bicycle, or in my Jeep so if it should ever be stolen, I can locate it using the GPS. The separation feature seems a bit too unstable. There are some new free apps that are on the phone called Numbers and Pages. Theyre like Word and Excel for the iPhone. These are really cool, but maybe they came with iOS8, not sure. The size of the screen is pretty awesome. I can actually do some things that I couldnt do on my 4S, simply because the screen was too small. I keep thinking about the phrase: Apples next big thing. Honestly, it is wonderful, and I love it, but Im a little disappointed that this next big thing doesnt seem like such a big deal to me. I think a 5s would have been fine. The slim, sleek design of the phone is pretty cool but Ill never get to admire it because I put it into an otter-box for protection. The one thing I really love about it is that it is so much faster than my 4S. I dont know how to compare it to a 5 because Ive never used one, but I dont know that someone who already has a 5 thats been upgraded to iOS8 would notice such a big difference when upgrading to a 6.
