Alan Newell: Alan is a proven businessman, an icon in the direct selling industry, a tremendous leader and an amazing individual. Mark Seyforth: Mark Seyforth earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Central Florida. He started his career in 1975, launching Seyforth Laboratories, Inc. (Slender Now), creating the first back end multi-level commissioning program in the industry. Three years later there were more than 160,000 distributors and over $100 million in sales. In 1980, Mark worked with one of his former distributors, Mark Hughes, to launch Herbalife. Seyforth Manufacturing (later US Labs) became Herbalife’s primary manufacturer for over 20 years. Mark returned from a ten-year retirement to become President of “The Right Solution Inc.” In that first year as President he saw the company sales increase from a few thousand to over $1,000,000 a month. After this, he spent time as the CEO and President of a public company, followed in 2002 by helping develop Extreme Research, which was later sold to NuVerus.
