Someone asked me earlier why I always dress-up on Sundays... why I always wear dress or formal outfit paired with high-heeled pumps... She said, she noticed that our family wears formal outfits during Sunday Mass, like we are to attend a formal gathering, while most people only wear denims and tees or simple outdoor clothes... I told her When people apply for work or attend a conference or awarding ceremonies, they dress-up... when we meet with our friends, we look our best... when attending parties, we wear our best dress, or even gown sometimes, and use our best-smelling perfumes and most expensive jewelries... when we have a date, dont we also want to look great? Today, I have a date with God, so why should I not wear something beautiful? Dont He deserve a date who looks her best? I dont know what she thought, but she smiled, nodded and left... I hope to see her dressed-up next Sunday though... My family loves fashion... All our closest friends knew that... So why cant we be fashionable on Sundays as well? We just actually wear common sunday dress in a little level-up manner... no gowns, of course (thats overdoing it).. sleeveless, bare-back, off-shoulders, tube, low-cut neckline, see-through apparels, long slit skirts, above-the-knee skirts, short pants are all NO-NOs when we attend Sunday Mass... but we love to accessorize, to make ordinary sunday dress looks more fashionable (still with decency and not overly done), then pair it with lovely high-heeled pumps or boot, and a matching bag or purse... so, what is so extraordinary with that? God is our casual companion, a friend who is with us everyday, with whom we can be ourselves, do whatever we want, wear whatever we like... because He is a loving and understanding God who never criticize... But for my family, Sundays are special... On Sundays, He invites us to His house, the Church, to celebrate Mass... Is it not right to decently and fashionably dress-up for such celebration? It is my choice to dress-up... d naman ako nangingialam kung ano suot ng iba... kaya.................. WALANG BASAGAN NG TRIP!!! ♡lol♥
