Someone asked me the other day, What are your top 10 guilty pleasure movies? I thought it was an interesting enough question to spend two minutes on, and not only did I realize that I loved a lot of bad movies as a kid, but also that I could easily think of 10 that I STILL love for one reason or another... So here they are: 1. Street Fighter (1994) Starring a Belgian martial artist as a U.S. Colonel fighting the dad from The Addams Family. Brilliant. 2. The Meteor Man (1993) If Tyler Perry made a superhero movie, this is what it would be. Fun cameos by some greats. Even Bill Cosby gets to play! 3. The Shadow (1994) Starring Alec Baldwin as Universals response to Tim Burtons Batman... Still has arguably the best hero shot in cinema history. 4. The Phantom (1996) Starring Billy Zane. I dont care if its a purple costume. The guy is frickin charming, alright?! 5. Judge Dredd (1995) Sylvester Stallone wants to be a superhero... Just ignore Deuce Bigalow. 6. Rocky IV (1985) Dolph Lundgren as a super-soldiered Russian boxer with some heavy handed Cold War commentary... Just ignore the robot. 7. Little Big League (1994) Kids grandfather owns the Minnesota Twins. Grandfather dies. Kid inherits the Twins...A.W.E.S.O.M.E. 8. Last Action Hero (1993) Arnold Schwarzenegger spoofing 80s and 90s action movies. Hello?! 9. Predator 2 (1990) Schwarzenegger was supposed to come back to play the villain this time around, but he decided to do Total Recall. So who plays the villain? Yes, Gary Busey. And Danny Glover is at his baddest ass here. 10. Demolition Man (1993) Last on the list because its easily the best movie here. If you havent seen it, please stop your life now and watch.
