Someone asked me today if i love animals so much why do i eat them? I said i need to think....I have thought.. when i eat meat i do not see meat, i recognise the animal. I am aware that it was once alive, it had feelings a mother and a father, it lived a life full of emotions and sentiment no matter how minor we categorize them. I respect the animal for the sacrifice it has made and I consume it to honor that sacrifice. I know that it did not have a choice in this but when my time comes nor shall i, they are subject to us, just as we are subject to the selection death.. I consume it just as the earth one day will consume me so that it too can continue to survive.. I recognise how one day the worms and bugs will feast upon my flesh, they will bore down into my muscle consuming all that is my physical body. They too in their turn will be consumed and thus life will continue its process. I do not see good nor bad in it as this is just subject to opinions. I see what it is, I understand what it it, I understand the beauty that this is... It is life.... these are my words, this is my response.
