Someone asked me why I allow people to say some of the stuff they say on various posts on my wall. I guess the implication is that I should censor them - or, perhaps, unfriend them... I dont play that game. I enjoy, welcome and encourage lots of different views. The ones I dont agree with, I will typically respond to with my differing opinion since its my facebook page. This is called dialogue - and its very important that we remain a people who affirm dialogue. Ive had those on the extreme right and the extreme left scold me for my views. Im totally okay with that and have no plans to change my views to make people happy. I know some from Group A have unfriended me for allowing those from Group B to remain on my friends list. (editorial comment: after recess, we have coloring time in homeroom.) I dont really have an agenda to force people to change their minds on what they value. I also wont hesitate one moment to let you know what I think about you trying to guilt me into changing my beliefs. In the end - there is really only One judge - thats God (for we who believe in Him) - the rest of us are simply along for the ride, hopefully learning how to love one another regardless of our particular beliefs.
