Someone asked me yesterday if preachers were called by God or if they were self appointed? I stated you will know by the fruit each one bears Mathew 7:15-27. I have often wondered why the church is full of leaders doing wrong. Well no one looks at what God says a leader should be 1 Timothy 3:1-7. So literally anyone can become a preacher. Some people are there for selfish reasons. Others are there to really serve the Lord and to help bring people to Christ. If you find yourself in a church where the leaders are doing any and everything...flee. Everything that is done in the dark shall come to the light. We must wake up as Christians and hold each other accountable. My pastor once said when did the church become the world where anything goes? That is my question to you... People have become lovers of themselves and their sinful nature.
