Someone asked us today What do i do if my house looks crap? . (LOL!) Well, for a start you need to get realistic and realise if your home really does look bad from the exterior, then it is high time you went and did something about it isnt it? It doesnt have to be a total re-build or something massively expensive, but even if you own a modest home, it could easily be worth at least £100,000 and I dont know about you, but that still is an awful lot of money isnt it? If you dont pay to upkeep your home, you are wasting money and losing it too, which cant be good for anybody. Hold or increase the value of your home this year and stay ahead of the game, and in pocket too! Make a list of what needs to be done to the outside and pin it up on the fridge so it is in your face and nagging you to get it done. Making a todo list gets your mind focussed and can include simple things like , mow the lawn, clean the driveway, paint the front door, get rid of that old Christmas tree from 2009 ! It can make all the difference, especially if you are looking for a good local estate agent with whom you plan to sell your house this year. Dont worry, we are skilled at this sort of thing and if you want the outside of YOUR home spruced up, repaired and with a bit of extra added kerb appeal, you can get a much higher asking price if the outside looks great, even though the interior may need a bit of work!
