Thats why we get our coffee roasted at Volcano Coffee Works who are a leading small batch, specialty coffee roaster based in South London. All our Baristas are trained in London at their roastery. Vo;cano source the worlds finest coffees, to design gourmet coffee blends for espresso & exceptional seasonal coffees. All their coffee roasting is crafted by expert Roasters on lovingly restored and customised vintage coffee roasters. Once roasted, coffee beans should be allowed to rest for seven days before being used as gases that effect the flavour and extraction of the coffee continue to be released during this time. The reality is that freshly roasted coffee does not make for a better cup. Our current blend incoporates DIRECT TRADE coffee, which is fairer than fair trade and guarantees the best beans from the crop So in essence we leave the coffee roasting to the professionals who have passion for what they do. We want to ensure our customers get a fantastic cup of coffee. We rather have well trained baristas who have a passion for what they serve and leave the roasting to the guys with a passion for roasting. We would never attempt to make our own wine or brew our own beer, we are much more interested in offering the highest quality produce as we believe our customers deserve the best.
