Someone can not like me and not get me all they want. They can create dramas that dont exist, play out their own insecurities, hate, lack of trust, judgementalness, jealousy, fears, and bitterness and make me their scapegoat or target all they want. They can ignore me, insult me, condescend to me, manipulate situations and try to make me look bad as much as their hearts desire and I will still say thank you, smile and not hate them, not even dislike them...just find compassion and understanding for why and how they got to be as miserable as they are, feel sad for them that their lives are so empty, and be so grateful thats not how or who I am. How do I do this? You might ask... Silly rabbits...I have in-laws! Married 12 years now and making nice with people who were never your biggest fans is the life skill gift that keeps on giving.
