Someone contacted the University of Pretoria regarding the research colaboration with Ukutula and this is the reply: The UP was only involved in isolating the gene responsible for the white fur. That was a project done by the Genetics Lab at Onderstepoort. They delivered a service on requests of owners. Requesting a service from an University department ( most likely with the purpose of enhancing the breeding of white lions at Ukutula by using the results) doesnt make Willi a researcher or Ukutula a research centre. Time to ask the University of Pretoria why is it allowing an immoral lion breeder like Willi Jacobs to pretend he is doing Research and use a so called research certificate weve been told he obtained after offering free stay at Ukutula lodge to a man and his family to advertize his lion farm as a research center.
