Someone had asked about chart of Yorba descendents. This is a chart to the 4th generation from Jose Antonio and Maria Josefa. It is from the WPA (Works Progress Administration) report on the 186_ partition of Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana. For several years I have been trying to verify the statement on p.1 that Jose Antonio willed this ranch to his four sons . . . but that the widow broke the will to make it include the five daughters. I have previously discussed this with William S Dean and others. So far no evidence for how this was done other than the fact that the daughters did in fact inherit. Any help here?
