Someone has asked me how my campaign is funded and Im perfectly happy to disclose that Ive had donations from family and friends to the total of almost $2600 (rounding up) since October 2013. Only five of my donors live in Hobart. I have no business interests or big corporate backers or anyone trying to influence me. Ive done all my own campaign planning, design and wordsmithery, with a bit of advice from friends. This campaign is as home-grown as they come and is the result of innumerable hours of work. There are murmurs about transparency and hints of corruption, which I think appeals to some peoples ideas of what they think happens in local government. Thats not how I party.
