Someone is asking President Uhuru Kenyatta, to pardon a certain student who was jailed for insulting him. You are living in the old times. Under our current constitution, the president can not wake up and order your release even if you are jailed for insulting him. He has the prerogative of mercy but executing it is a whole wide process which involves so many people and he has no control over it. If you love the guy that much, raise the first 200k fine to save him one year. Then appeal to the High Court on the second charge which was one year bila fine I already see James Macharia, is in the Mpesa fundraising committee meeting somewhere near my neighborhood in Athi River. I hope Jame and the committee are not trying to raise money for their children school fees in the name of helping a jailbird....lol Karibuni chai kwangu.
