Someone just suggested to me that Pope Francis might be providing the Church with a course correction and that Pope Francis was hand selected by the Holy Spirit. A course correction? So Pope Benedict XVI was taking the Church in the WRONG direction? (Whos unfairly judging the pope now?) Didnt the Holy Spirit also select Benedict XVI? Ive been reading Church teaching for years and have read many books by Pope Benedict XVI. There was nothing wrong with dear Benedict XVIs course for the Church! The Church does not need a course correction! I know what the Church teaches and what Pope Francis says often doesnt sound anything like those teachings. The Vicar of Christ is supposed to explain what the Church teaches. Others in turn should not have to then explain him.
