Someone mentioned on television last night, I want my America back! and I could not help but appreciate and understand what she meant. The person was in her 50s and appeared that she was from a small town. I could not agree with her more in her sentiment of just how much America has changed and NOT for the good. We fear sending our children to school afraid a killer will walk in and take out half the school; we fear going to an ATM to withdraw money for fear of being robbed, stabbed or even killed, parents have to inspect their childrens Halloween candy to see nothing dangerous is in what they eat, We fear riding on planes for a possible bomb exploding or a terrorist on board ready to kill everyone, our schools, government and practically everything else is becoming increasingly corrupt every day and many of us feel that no matter what we do, nothing is safe anymore, even our cars are having more and more mechanical problems due to sloppy craftsmanship and everything now days is instant this, that and the other. Is anyone else out there like the woman who uttered that comment in she wanted back the America she knew and grew up with? I am with her 100% but I fear it is too late for me but can only hope future generations can find something better than what we have now!
