Someone on Google+ asked a question about how to use testimonials in their business and if it was ok to ask for testimonials. I thought it was important enough to share my thoughts with you so you can use it in your business. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Testimonials are much like referrals where we all know theyre important in growing our businesses, but are reluctant to ask. LinkedIn is a great way to get endorsements. The feature is built in. The step that is often overlooked is taking those testimonials and using them in other ways, for example, using testimonials/endorsements in your presentations, videos, and website. I teach a concept called Magical Moments Method which occurs at different stages of our relationship with clients. One of these is when you follow up and deliver good news of some type. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For Mortgage/Real Estate Business it may look like this: YOU: Customer, Im calling to let you know that despite the challenges we faced in getting qualified for the home, you were just approved and youre just two weeks away from being a home owner. What does that mean to you? CUSTOMER: OMG, this is amazing news. I didnt think it was possible. Thank you so much for your hard work.
