Someone on one of my Facebook groups asked: Do you believe Jesus actually existed? Does it matter whether or not He did? My answer: Yes to both. And as Jennifer already stated, there is historical proof, and it is in the form of manuscript evidence (from writers including Josephus and Tacticus, who wrote about Him not very long after His death and resurrection, about 20 or so years later, which was fairly-quick for back then) as well as testimonial evidence of first and second-hand accounts by hundreds to even thousands of individuals, and therefore is demonstrable evidence of His existence to me. As if that were not enough, I have even seen one atheist write somewhere on an article or review on Infidels.org the following, and I quote: the New Testament Scriptures are historicity enough of Jesus existence. And Im not taking that out of context either, as that is what was really said and he wasnt trying to disprove Jesus existence.
