Someone once said we need to develop relationship with God to a point where He tells us what to eat and wear daily. I believe he was sincere but hes sincerely wrong. This is because God has given us BRAINS! Its our choice to eat or starve, dress or be naked. God is not raising stupid people who cant make ordinary day-to-day choices. Why not also wait for God to tell us when to sleep? When to bath and what soap to use? When to fart and poo? When to smile, laugh and all too? You see how ridiculous it gets? Imagine a young woman in the market asking, Lord, what should I buy? Kote or Titus or Chicken? The Lord isnt impressed with such, rather Hes disappointed, most likely. You wont find this kind of stuff in the life of believers in scriptures. God doesnt lead us to brush our teeth. He also doesnt tell us what to eat, drink and wear on a daily basis. I dont know how this idea of not using our brains passes for spirituality. For me, its just weird and its a pseudo spirituality that would frustrate even the most passionate and zealous. Why? Because God doesnt operate this way! There could be an exception where God instructs to wear a particular cloth for a particular reason you dont know, but this is not an everyday thing. God expects you using your brain for these things. Lets talk of being led in areas beyond our brains. Yea, the Spirits leading is for things beyond the human brain. Cheers
