Someone recently reminded me of a post I made about the lasts - TopicsExpress

Someone recently reminded me of a post I made about the lasts before baby. I mentioned my last time taking communion and then said: What a powerful reminder that I dont just need physical strength for what Im about to endure but spiritual strength as well I had no idea that those feelings would take on a complete opposite meaning for what I was anticipating. Our sweet Olive didnt want to make mom and dad have to make anymore difficult decisions, she decided to let us know herself that she was ready to be done with her earthly journey. Chuck and I were able to spend her last hours with her, snuggling her and telling her how much we love her and how very, very proud we are to have been chosen as her parents. She was the most beautiful baby I have ever laid eyes on and Im so thankful she was ours, if only for the short time we had her. Olive went to be with Jesus this morning, while in the comforting arms of her daddy. We cannot thank you enough for your encouragement. It was astounding to see the support our precious girl had over the last 48 hours. If her story was able to help one person who hasnt talked to God in awhile to reach out on her behalf, or bring someone else who regularly talks to Him just a little bit closer, then I believe she has done her job on this earth. While our hearts are aching knowing she is no longer ours, we rest assured she is celebrating with Jesus in heaven right now. We ask for your continued prayers as we navigate the difficult days ahead of us with the heavy hearts we have - that we can make peace with all of this and come out stronger individuals, spouses and parents. If youre wondering what you can do for us, hug your babies a little tighter tonight and always keep our sweet girl in your hearts. Thank you again for your love and support.
