Someone said thanks for showing us the behind the scenes on another post... So...I thought you might like this... We did the show from the KFC YUM CENTER today, and with it open just for womens practice, it was a good time for us to take you to get a feel for some spots you may not get a chance to see in this spectacular building. The pictures left to right: 1) The visitors locker room. When I think of some of the amazing athletes to come through that room... 2) Visiting coachs office. Same sentiment 3) The view opponent sees when they are ready to take the court 4)The view the Cards see right before they take the court 5) There is even a dressing room for radio and tv crews. Here is dressing room for tv broadcasters. 6) There is a full size practice gym in the building. Each team, the men and women, have identical facilities at opposite ends. A locker room, a coachs office, player lounge, equipment room. 7) This is the womens rehab and training room. Men have an identical one at their end. 8) Even the media are well taken care of. They are served a pregame meal in this room. Adjacent to one side is a media work room, to the other the interview room shown in the next photo 9) The interview room where coaches speak from the podium to assembled media. This is a beautiful, enjoyable facility the entire city and state should take great pride in. I consider it a privilege each time I come to work here. I get asked about this building by friends and colleagues all over the country, many of whom regularly go to the most famous arenas in America. That this building is known and respected by people all across the nation speaks volumes. Hope you enjoyed the pix...
