Someone said to me recently that it was ok for people to bypass the time line needed to become an American citizen because the citizens coming into the US as undocumented citizens only accelerates our workforce and the production of US acceleration in American products and we benefit from this acceleration. And that they deserve it anyway, werent the original Europeans Illegal Immigrants as well? Issue #1: We didnt have a functioning government with legislation voted for before 1776. Irregardless of your immigration status whether rogue or stellar we should know before youre allowed to be a citizen whether youre a child molester, criminal or what your political agenda is. Fine be socialist, communist but we have a right to know. Issue #2: Just because capitalism calls for input of the masses should allow bypass of citizenship is RIDICULOUS, just because we started out as a capitalist democracy who can forget it took over 200 years of America votes, fight and wisdom and whatever else to establish the core of this arguement in the first place? So at the sake of not being brandished a political color my arguement isnt necessarily for or con of the issue but its to establish the respect and wisdom of what established it in the first place. We created this nation over centuries. Not over the last few years. Whats the greatest wisdom of parents. Its not radical movement or change but the cautious tapping into experience. So again Im not against change, but I am against changing because of pressure. How can a house stand if it doesnt believe in its own laws. All of it. And you say, We break our own laws. so that doesnt mean to change our own laws just because a few break them. mIm just saying specifically for illegal immigration. I stand firm. Illegal immigration is wrong and thats the short and long of it.
