Someone spoke to me yesterday about the type of administrator I was. It was such an encouraging things to hear on the phone from someone whom I served. I do not believe that administrators are supposed to Lord it over the people who work for them. I believe in servant leadership, and leading by example. This teacher reminded me about the type of teacher I was when I was teaching. My ex-husband also reminded me this morning about all the time I put into teaching and creating materials for my students to learn. I have always referred back to those times when I hosted staff development activities for my teaching staff, That is when I remembered the Christmas present that I got from my former May Howard -Wilmington Island students.
