Someone stole two propane tanks valued at $400 from the yard of a home on Banyan Drive Deputy Miller conducted a traffic stop on West Silver Springs Boulevard. After contact was made with the driver, 24 year old Raynaldo Rosendo, the deputy conducted a computer check which revealed that Raynaldo’s license was suspended and he is a habitual traffic violator. When placing him under arrested, Deputy Miller located a loaded Ruger .380 handgun in Raynaldo’s waistband. He was transported to the Gold Star Hotel A home on Dogwood Drive Trail in Silver Springs Shores was broken into and someone stole two flat screen TVs valued at $650 Deputy Doody responded to the 3000 block of N.E. 167th Place Citra after homeowner was checking on his vacant residence he located suspicious items. When Deputy Doody went into the home he located plastic bottles and packages of items used to make Meth. UDEST responded and is investigating Someone entered a home in the 14,000 block of S.E. 47th Avenue in Summerfield through the unlocked door and stole $2800 worth of electronics Four black females entered the Radio Shack on SW 93rd Court. Two of the females were able to distract the employees while the other two entered the office and stole 26 smart phones valued at about $15,000. The investigation is ongoing. Multiple units assisted the Ocala Police Department with a vehicle pursuit involving multiple vehicles. It was reported that three vehicles were stolen from the Ocala Auto Dealer Exchange on NW 27th Avenue. OPD Officers spotted two of the three vehicles and a vehicle pursuit ensued within the city limits. The pursuit was headed toward the county when one of the vehicles hit spike strips and was stopped at the Publix at East SR40 and 36th Avenue where one subject was taken into custody. The second vehicle continued north on 36th Avenue and crashed near Booster Stadium where the driver fled on foot. The investigation is ongoing. The victim came into the Forest District to make a report of domestic violence and criminal mischief. While the victim was arguing with Roy Sherman over money for a flight to Colorado, Roy Sherman threw a vase at him and damaged a $1400.00 electric guitar.
