Someone suggested that this would be a cool, fun idea and so I ran it by a few other friends and they all agreed it would be interesting to say the least. The idea is that now that I have produced a short film of my poem The Little Chair ... I can actually now post the poem here online, along with the film ... and then you and I can then read the poem together in unison. Of course ... not that you are in any way obligated to read it aloud if you dont want to, but more in the sense that you would be able to hear me reading along with you while you are reading it, while the music that I specifically composed to be heard during the poems reading will now be playing in the background. This ... in a way ... sort of allows you to actually step inside the film for a few minutes and be a part of all the action, while its all in the process of happening. Its a cool little creatively artistic experiment that some people thought would be fun ... and after mulling it over for a while ... I think its worth giving it a try. What do YOU think? Plus, this way the images oft the film may add a visual aspect to your reading of the poem that might bring a uniquely different / new perspective to your enjoyment of the poem, as we all tend to have our own personal take on what a poem sounds like and looks like inside our own heads. So each Inner Movie will be completely original in a sense. Let me know what you think?
