Someone told me I was too ethical to make good money in the fitness industry. It is a weird thing to hear but it made me think about my own goals. I suppose in a lot of ways, they are absolutely right. - All of my online clients have programmes made from scratch rather than me sending out pre-made programmes from a library. This minimises how many clients I can train and therefore how much money I can make. - If someone wants to work with me I always interview them (free of charge) before accepting any money. - In some cases, I will actually refer clients elsewhere if I dont think I am the best person for the job. - Despite being offered, no, I will not do muscle worship or gay for pay Skype sessions. - I wont put my name on anything I am not proud of. I wont knock up a shit eBook to try and flog it for £29.99 or use affiliate sales with one of the many MLM companies. I will inevitably make less money than a lot of people in the industry however, when I look at myself in the mirror at the end of the day, I am proud for being one of what feels like a dying breed of ethical people in this industry. I have always had the motto of leading by example. I ask myself if I had a child, would I be setting them a good example? If making money comes at the expense of this, I will not do it.
