Someone told me a while ago that there were many fundamentalist Christians in psychiatric institutions. Could this be because the subconscious is saying this sort of thing?: Romans chapter 13 says that all governments must be obeyed and our government is waging war. 2 Corinthians 10:3 says that although we live in the world we do not wage war as the world does. I must therefore wage war and not wage war at the same time. Concerning the burial of Jesus, Matthew 28 says that Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb, that there was a violent earthquake, and that an angel of the Lord rolled back the stone sealing the tomb and sat on the stone. Mark 16 says that Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Salome went to the tomb and found that the stone had been rolled away. Luke ch 24 says that the women found that the stone had been rolled away and that two men in gleaming clothes stood beside them. John 20 says that Mary Magdalene went to the tomb, saw the stone had been removed and ran to Simon Peter and another disciple. This is why people should ascertain whether their psychiatrist or psychologist is capable of handling religious conflict problems. What help is medication when it does not solve this sort of problem? Would a suicide bomber be diagnosed as sane, yet less aggressive acts be considered insane? If political problems are a main source of stress and illness should the psychologist and psychiatrist not be questioned by patients on this sort of thing?
