Someone very close to me was locked up two times in FCT police command in Abuja by his wife because he took his kids to Catholic Church. The man wedded in a Catholic Church against the wish of the mother in-law. His mother in-law and her husband are general overseer of a church and advised their daughter to attend Deeper Life and which the husband never objected. The husband usually allow her to go to her own church with the kids. Few days ago their children decided to follow their dad to his own church and the wife called her mother who advised her to get her husband arrested. The mother in-law said that all catholics are going to hell because they are cultic church and worship mermaid spirit. The same woman advised her daughter to embark on 10yrs artificial family planning because her husband is no longer rich while they were the people that ran him down. Here she has passed judgement on all catholic while the scripture advised us not to judge. Can you convince me why the man (42) should not ask for separation when his life and faith are at risk? 7yrs old marriage is still in control of mother in-law simply because her mother in-law believe that Nnewi people are more superior than Nsukka people. For me this case went to a wrong person. How I wish it is happening to me. What is your own opinion pls?
