Someone with whom I share no mutual friends commented on the Franchesca Chescaleigh Ramsey Just Stop Talking About Race video I shared. U had me thinking on this one because I was always one of those people who would AT times say: I dont see color just personality BUT Im also very much 0n the t0pic for gender - as well as race equality. Not seeing ur color is not realizing who you are, what ur made of and what u can contribute=eye opener for me. Thank u ... Reading the above comment was a wonderful moment for me. Among my various aspirations I would love to create videos such as Franchesca in the future and this comment was an affirmation that whether or not they are commented on or liked, the articles and ideas I share do reach beyond my page. I understand what they people who say I dont see color / race are going for with that statement. But while race is not real insofar as it is a societal construct with no basis in science but its implications and racism itself are very real and not seeing race does nothing to stem the ever-present tide.
