Someone wrote me and asked, how can I get my six month old to sleep in his crib without doing cry it out? My answer? In most cases you cant. This is because babies are born incredibly prematurely compared to other mammals. They cannot walk, cannot talk (besides crying) and in most cases will not sleep peacefully on their own because they are not supposed to. Babies need frequent cuddles, frequent breastfeeds and frequent comfort. Not only while awake but while sleeping. Baby wear, take naps with your baby, ask for help from family, friends or the wider community. Babies need cuddles. ❤️
