Something ALL of us should go and support. Our first Singapore Malay feature film that we can be proud of. I must say it is not just a film that you watch at home.. this is cinema, big silver screen with 5.1 surround sound. Last year, some of us were hot on the Hijab topic and now we have something that we can share. A movie on hijab. Then again also for some of us who are in the film industry, we hope that there will be more support from your fellow malay community at large. (most of the support is coming from the non-muslim community). To support this film means a lot to us as it may be chain reaction of future filmmaking to educate the community. Films are stories for our community to better understand what others are going through or for our other fellow Singaporeans to understand our community better. If our own community do not make films then who will? Without your support, we dont know if this film can go far. We dont know if there will EVER be an industry just like Jalan Ampas.
