Something I learned today that I thought Id share with every other parent out there going through parental alienation and denial of visitation by the custodial parent. In Douglas and Sarpy county, if you call the police during each instance you are denied visitation, they wont file a report, but they will log the call. And if you call the courthouse and talk to the receptionist who works for the judge assigned to your case, you can ask them to log your call in their system as well. Do both of these for documentation just in case something happens with your own documentation. You will have two legal entities with official logs of your activity of interest. Wish I would have known before, but I learn something new everyday in this. In other news, I will be soon speaking with senators in this state to get statutes changed on custody interference. The protection offered by law needs to apply to the parent granted visitation, not just the custodial parent. Even in temporary orders.
