Something I want you all to realize is how drinking and driving and how serious it really is. Years ago, and even though I was so young this still has impacted me tremendously, on May 1, 2001 my beautiful and outstanding cousin Amy, got her life taken away from her by a drunk driver. I didnt really get to know Amy since I was so young but some days I feel like I do. Joan Head Hopper and along with the rest of our family have had to cope with the loss and understand that Amy is in a better place. Being in high school now, a lot of people party and most also drink. Well when they want to get home, they dont realize the big mistake they are making by driving while intoxicated.. Guys, hand the keys over if you have been drinking. You are putting yourself and others in such high danger. I know my whole family would do anything just to have one more moment with Amy until we shall meet again.. You could be affecting so many lives by drinking and driving. If you woke up one day and your loved one had passed away from a drunk driver, your aspects would change, dont you think? By handing the keys over, you could truly be saving a life.
