Something I wanted to share - Have you ever wondered or thought was this a test for me? Sometimes things are put in our paths and even people to see how we will react or what we will do. Some times we see it and some times we dont or not until later. WE all have feelings and we all are human. I was in a store and a lady I have never met walked up to me and said thank you with a huge smile that could have brightened a dark room. I hugged her neck and said I dont know what I did for you but I know what you just did for me. As I was shopping trying to have a good time I was fighting back tears because Andrew was on my mind. Just her smile and the tone of her voice lifted me. She said well I wasnt expecting that but I have waited for a long time to tell you thank you in person. So we got to talking and she shared her story with me. I am not one to tell anyones business nor name calling but this lady I hope you read this because I want to thank you. As we talked she said you were always nice to my daughter who as a child got picked on and today you are still that sweet child who always treats others as you would like to be treated. My mind was racing trying to figure out ok now who was your daughter. And of course I didnt want to say that but I did and she didnt mind it at all. However as we continued to talk she explained why she wanted to thank me but little did she know I would be learning from her. She told me she had followed my story of Andrew and learned from me that our God isnt putting us through tough times and he doesnt punish us either. When she said that i know this puzzled look came across my face. And immediately before I had realized my mouth was just a going. I said mam God doesnt want us to hurt and he doesnt punish us we have the most amazing God who loves us more than you know and He gave us life his only son. She said I know but that look was in her eyes. She said at because of you Ive wanted to learn more about God and lean on him and trust in him. Little did I know she had also lost a baby. She had never shared this with her family or her children and had carried it on her shoulders for years until recently. As we talked she shed a tear and so did I. I realized so many of us carry sometimes what feels to be an overload on our shoulders. We sometimes feel like we will be looked at different or we just cant tell something. God always listens He is always there. When you are struggling he is waiting for you to turn to him and rely on him. I promise he listens and hears you. And to this sweet lady and anyone else I am always here to listen and talk. I am by far a counselor but sometimes its just good to have someone to talk to. But after listening to her it made me wonder just how many people have things they have carried for a long time and just didnt know how to talk about it or just couldnt for a long time. Never give up and when you think you are weak remember someone is always there for you and that is our amazing God! Ive met some amazing friends and together we have strengthened our faith so much and learned a lot and Im grateful that I opened up to you all because you have all helped me in more ways than you will ever know. Thank you all and remember to always be there for the other person. Because you never know whats going on.
