Something I was supposed to go to tonight was cancelled and since Id already given my regrets for the extra Council meeting I CHOSE to attend the Advent II service with Alfred (we are both suffering from crisis exhaustion). Were both glad we went! The service was beautifully connected through the combined gifts of Scott Knarr, Jackie Nunns and Pastor Philip K. Mathai. The reflection on Isaiah was both compelling and challenging. As one of our fellow worshippers said; if people only knew what they were missing, and another commented, I look forward to these services every year; I would miss it badly if we didnt have them. Next week I know I cant go so I hope 20 of you will come in my place. :)
