Something I would like to share with facebook- because of my own experiences and wanting to spare others the unnecessary pain and guilt caused by well meaning words from others who think you should be over it, etc..please remember this if you are consoling someone deep in grief from the death of a loved one and all people and death experiences are different, but the pain is the same..was talking today with a fellow who lost his son a few months ago, and his wife was still not handling the grief very well..he said a very simple but powerful statement that I totally understood and want all of you too also..he said in his southern Texan drawl-- grief aint the flu bug, ya dont just get over it...........such words of wisdom...
