Something Ive learnt through having children and am still continuing to learn ☺ We have been given so many amazing gifts recently its been so overwhelming and we are so thankful. From friends, whanau and even people we barely know. Its honestly so touching that others are thinking of us and put so much love and thought into these, thank you all so much for your support. I only hope I can give back and help others through difficult times, loss or just because. Starting with the most loveliest lady in the whole world. Mum you have supported me through so much and were right there with me almost every day running around after me and my kids. As well as being a super mum and getting Sorel and Emily through everything, they did superb with exams and recital. You communicated to everyone for me and made sure everyone felt welcome and comfortable, that they understood what was happening and what was going on, that they gave me space or if I needed anything done. You cooked mean feeds for everyone, even other families in hospital. You helped me to understand my own feelings and the feelings of those people around me. You helped me to breathe and keep calm because as you always say my babies feel what I feel so as long as I am relaxed so are they. You showed me to make the most of every moment we have together and the special moments we had with Tehani. There was a few times in hospital when I was too exhausted and you would step in, when you rocked Tehani for hours and hours because she was comfy and your arms almost fell off, when you stayed up all night with her right by her side so I could go have a sleep with Taenga, when you rubbed my back until I fell asleep and would jump up and run over to Tehani when her dummy fell out or if she was uncomfy. Theres nothing I could ever do to repay you for the beautiful mother you are to me and the amazing, loving grandmother you are to your sweet, angel granddaughter. But i hope you enjoyed your gift Mum Love you so much 😍
