Something I’m sure most of us are guilty of is to LISTEN. We only hear what we want to hear; that we focus only on the things that matter to us and ignore the rest. When disaster strikes we then fail to recognize our flaws and weaknesses. Trouble comes not because of things we have done or not done; sometimes it simply arrives on our doorstep and either force us to go to the next level of spiritual or personal accomplishment. But we need to adapt our ways and LISTEN more so that we can equip ourselves with good Faith for faith is substance; it pleases God, endures all and brings eternal salvation. We must allow our ears to hear God’s encouraging promises over and over again. It is impossible for satan, the father of lies, to penetrate the sacred atmosphere that is created by God’s Word so he is forced to flee from our mind and thoughts. LISTEN and learn to believe the words of the Lord. He expects us to believe them for His Word is truth. Ps 18:30 says “As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.” God will cause His blessings to overtake us if we are faithful. This means that as long as we listen to His voice and do what He commands, we cannot help but be blessed.
