Something To Be Thankful For, Day # 351: Theres Something About Mariene One of my favorite movies is Theres Something About Mary starring Cameron Diaz and Ben Stiller. Its one of those movies that you really dont have to think a lot but will surely make you laugh (remember the zipper incident?). Its about this girl who mesmerized guys in a such a way that they obsessed about her and went to great lengths to win her. The girl in the movie is obviously a make-believe character... or is she? This question is for the married guys reading this: have you ever met a girl who swept you off your feet that you made it your life quest to have her? A girl whose laugh makes you laugh even though you have no clue what she is laughing about? A girl who makes you feel that you are more handsome than Brad Pitt? A girl who you miss already even though you havent even pulled out of your garage yet as you get ready to drive to work? A girl who stands by you despite your foolishness? I am blessed to have found that girl. She married me in church this day 20 years ago. She put up with my ungodly ways for the first 15 of those 20 years. I have said it before and I will never stop saying it: she is one of the main reasons I know there is God. Happy anniversary, baby. I love you always.
