Something VERY different, this bike has been many years in the building, matching parts and modifying them to fit and work as they should... It started life as a 94 ZZR1100D (same bike to 2000), it was being built as a muscle show bike that actually worked as an everyday rider, almost nothing on it is just bolt on or aftermarket cheap junk, I have used many OE parts from other bikes that are good quality, maybe not the flashest but definitely reliable useable and lighter than the stock items by substantial amounts. The original bike weighed in at 237kg dry, this bike is now somewhere in the 180kgs area, its affectionately been dubbed The Pig, its not the kind of bike for the feint hearted or the inexperienced rider. The mod list is endless and about the only thing still stock on it is the fuel tank. I was building the bike as a show piece for my former custom built shop in the north, it was also being built to be something no one else had, completely individual to anything else on the street, its a cross between a sports tourer, a muscle bike and a power cruiser and a drag bike, yes its goes around corners too and stops. All the hard work and engineering has been done, its very close now to being in pretty up stage and final looks. Individualizing it to taste is simple. The bike also comes with high quality De Beers Paints custom blended for the bike, similar colours to the factory ZX-RR 990 MotoGP bike. So heres an overview of what its about.. The engine is now 1109cc (orig 1045cc) without writing a longer book on mods to engine it is out of an Australian championship F1 GP Sidecar and is only a few hours run time on fresh engine, its last run on LAEs Dyno had it running 172 RWHP and a mountain of torque, if your seriously interested in whats in the thing, lets talk details.. The front end is Suzuki GSXR1000 K8, complete with radial brakes and master cylinder, the steering stem center has been machined out of high grade stainless steel to kawasaki sizing while keeping suzuki fitment, this alone is almost a grands worth of work, the front rotors are Gixxer K8 mated to lightweight Brembo wheel on custom turned adaptors. Handlebars are Kawa Zephyr550 OE (New) on Zephyr550 bar mounts. Nose cone is Kawa KLE500, to keep the ZZR family look, the instrument panel is now digital race style, weighs less than a pack of cigarettes compared to the original 4.3kg instrument cluster, it is wired in to the harness already. Fuel tank outer shroud is custom built one off item, Exhaust is Surgical Stainless oversize and equalised headers built by SP Tadeo Japan, only 4 sets ever made, intermediate pipes are also Stainless custom items and the exhaust tips are Staino 6LTR SS Holden. Rear sets are Gixxer K8 1000 items, radiator is PWR racing, engine sump was built in USA for land speed record bikes, features external line feed squirters for oil to number 2 and 3 big ends, plumbed by Pirtec, the engine other external mods is cylinder head to clutch housing oil scavenger. Hel braided lines etc etc etc The bike was run previously in a fatter configuration and on GPS ran 312 with the close ratio box fitted, that has been replaced with a stock but 6 dog gearbox so it wont redline in top so easy, the engine must be kept to 10,500 rpm instead of 11,000 stock, with other box it would bag up at 200kph and only got 85k out of 21 litres so a stock box had to be fitted. So heres the deal, I cant finish what I started, i have a shit life expectancy and now have other things more pressing to do, this bike in parts and man hours to date has swallowed the best part of $50K, I have no illusions of getting that back, but i need it gone! It needs someone who can do the finishing crap stuff and make the pretty stuff look the shit to match the rest of it, i figure probably another 2k and its a done thing. I am more than happy to help out with after sale info and facts etc.. I would be interested in a swap but only mildly interested at best, I need the cash....Im not looking for a ton of cash for it, but keep it real, $6000 and im happy and you have one hell of a custom bike to personalise to your taste without spending the bucks... the bike is in Caboolture and Im Northside.. ph 0459971233 for details.
