Something a bit upsetting. Today I received an email from Carly Birchell, founder of SlingSwing. Apparently the rumour is that I have claimed that SlingSwing is dangerous and that people should not attend SlingSwing classes run by Jennifer Nicholson. THIS IS NOT TRUE!!! SlingSwing classes are fun and great for parents as well as babies! In fact until recently I inquired about a SlingSwing franchise myself. But because I do not want to tread on Jennifers toes (SlingSwing Chandlers Ford, Romsey and Salisbury) as well as financial reasons, I decided against it. What I have said, is that the sling library advises parents to go home and learn the ins and outs of their hired/new carrier, before attending SlingSwing classes! Once parents are comfortable, happy and feel safe with their chosen sling, there is nothing in the way of going dancing!!!
