Something about spilled milk comes to mind. And NO, LIFE IS NOT FAIR. Ask Jay Leno if life is fair. He will tell you what life in show biz is like. And your pageants are nothing more than show biz. So get over it. Besides, you have a larger problem with which to contend. YOUR IMAGE. After your TODAY segment, America sees you as a whiner, not a winner. Had you decided to get over it before going on air, you could have taken the high road, put on a happy face, proclaim yourself the winner in the hearts and minds of the judges, AND BEEN THE WINNER IN THE ARENA OF PUBLIC OPINION. You might have become the darling of the PR circuit for more than this 15 seconds of poor little me fame you are receiving. THIS MIGHT HAVE BECOME A PR COUP FOR YOU, and launched your career into who knows what. But NOW? Now you have to overcome this whiney teary eyed image that is emblazoned in Americas memory. EVERYONE ADMIRES THE ONE WHO COMES OUT ON TOP, and you COULD HAVE COME OUT ON TOP. Instead, we would rather you just go away and have your cry, and then get on with your life. You did have a life planned for AFTER the pageant, did you not? You ARE keeping the scholarship, so college is paid for. COLLEGE IS PAID FOR? What are you whining about?!
