Something amazing happened today, when we first purchased our house, I found a name and date written into a cement path in our lower garden, Carolyn 1947. Today there was a ring on the doorbell and I was met by two ladies, yep, Carolyn and her sister. They asked for a visit to see the house they lived in, back in 1947. I gave them a tour and in return they gave me their precious memories of their time in our house. It was strange when Carolyn looked at her name, put there by her mother so long ago, she did not know it was there. Nice.
