Something changed overnight. Woke up in need of the word. I have an amazing family, but I feel like Im drowning. Yesterday a good friend at work opened the clouds, and recaptured my passion for faith. Dont get me wrong, Im still the same guy:) But a huge part of my upbringing was my familys faith in God. When I had that, all things seemed possible. Now that I have drifted away from it over the years, I forgot how something often deemed trivial had such an impact in my life. This morning I went back to one of my favorite passages, to stay focused and grounded. 1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape that you be able to endure it. There is always reason for every challenge in life. The saying goes Everything happens for a reason. After finally understanding, it is not the consequence of action that leads to the reason, but the action taken after the consequence that elevates reason to a higher purpose.
