Something funny is going on this week on Movies! Join us on Icons @ 8 all week as we present: The Comedians. Tonight weve got a pair from one of the 80s most consistently hilarious funny men—Michael Keaton. Gung Ho (1986) finds Keaton as the liaison between his American car company and the bosses of the Japanese firm thats purchased them. Its a comedic clash of cultures, with Keaton doing his best to bring the two sides together, while justifying the necessity of his position. Then its the tremendous gangster send-up, Johnny Dangerously (1984), with Keaton in the title role as a goodhearted man whos forced to enter a life of crime to help with his neurotic mothers skyrocketing medical bills.
