Something huge is about to happen on our doorstep. Tomorrow, our neighbours in Scotland vote in a referendum for their own Independence. They vote for whether or not they want to be their own country and break away from the union. Whatever happens tomorrow, Scotland and the UK will never, ever be the same again. When I think what my ancestors and the ancestors of all Irish people had to go through, and the lives that were lost, to gain our Independence and now Scottish people can achieve this with the simple marking of an X with a pen on a piece of paper. The very thought that they may reject this once in a lifetime opportunity just beggars belief and pains me. Im not Scottish but I have many Scottish friends, some that I would class as close friends, and I pray for their sakes that common sense and National pride prevails and the outcome is YES. Scotland, this is your time and the whole world is watching you. Please dont f*ck it up! #Indyref #VoteYes
