Something is seriously out of order when law enforcement are hostile to citizens when no threat is posed. Can anyone explain this? In my college psychology class we read studies about facial stereotypes (among others, read: psycnet.apa.org/psycinfo/1981-25578-001). The data suggest an explanation for the measure of difference between this particular instance and the one in Ferguson. Nonetheless, excessive force was unnecessary in both cases.
